Camerata is for me to share music with friends, great artists and motivated young people.

Felix Froschhammer

Felix Froschhammer was born in Munich in 1984 and began violin lessons at the age of seven with Olga Voitova. At the age of nine he premiered the piece Gavotte für Felix which the composer Peter Jona Korn had written for him. One year later he gave his début with the Münchner Rundfunkorchester in a live Radio concert.

Felix Froschhammer studied then at the Pestalozzi-Gymnasium, the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich and Richard-Strauss-Conservatory (Munich) in the class of Olga Voitova and Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne in the class of Pierre Amoyal where he obtained the Soloist Diploma with Congratulations of the Jury in 2007

Felix Froschhammer is a prize-winner of national and international competitions and has participated in many masterclasses, e. g. by Aaron Rosand, Josef Märkl, Boris Kuschnir, Eduard Schmieder, the Académie de Musique of Lausanne 2002, Trio di Trieste, in the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena 2003 (Diploma di Merito).
